Our microphone capsules are made in-house starting with just a brass rod, we then turn, mill and drill the brass until we have a finished work of art, the building block of a great microphone.
The electronics in all our microphones are of the highest quality. The tubes used in our microphones are hand selected from European and American new old stock (NOS). When deciding on a tube for our microphones, we don't just test for noise, we burn them in and then listen to ensure that every tube used meets our requirements.

Here at BeesNeez we have noticed that so many of the microphones manufactured today are modeled and named after either a U47, a 251 or a C12. These microphones are still and always have been among the greatest microphones ever made, so rather than just make another clone, we have decided to create our own designs. Let's face it, no matter how good a clone is, it's never as good as the original.
In today’s financial climate, true manufacturing has taken a down turn. A large percentage of manufacturers buy in ready-made parts and assemble them. Whilst financially this may make sense, it can lead to poor quality control and the inability to properly test all facets of the design process resulting in a product that “is not perfect, but it’ll do”.
